
Blueberry Syrup with Ginger Flavor

Ingredients
- Fresh Berries 3 cups
- Sugar ½ cup
- Light Corn Syrup ½ cup
- Water ¼ cup
- Grated Ginger Root 0 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine the blueberries, sugar, corn syrup, water, and 2 small pieces of ginger. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes. Then reduce to a low heat and simmer for 25–30 minutes, until the berries burst.
Step 2
Strain the syrup through a sieve, pressing out all the juice, and stir in the lemon juice. Cool.
