Description
Muffins, an American version of cupcakes. They traveled to the New World with English immigrants but eventually evolved: the British version typically uses yeast, while these use baking soda or baking powder. You can substitute blueberries with other berries.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
- Salt ½ spoons
- Sugar 5 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Blackberry 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Sift the flour with the baking powder.
Step 3
Add sugar and salt, and stir.
Step 4
Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
Step 5
Pour the oil into the flour.
Step 6
Add the egg and milk, and knead the dough. It should not be perfectly smooth and uniform.
Step 7
Fold the blueberries into the batter.
Step 8
Grease the muffin tins with butter.
Step 9
Fill each mold two-thirds full with the batter.
Step 10
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 20–25 minutes.
