Description
You can use blueberries fresh or frozen.
Ingredients
- Fresh Berries 6 cups
- Water 4 cups
- Sugar 5 lbs
- Yellow pectin 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the berries in a saucepan and lightly crush them.
Step 2
Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover partially, and simmer for 45 minutes.
Step 3
Strain to obtain 6 cups of juice.
Step 4
Transfer the juice to the saucepan, add sugar, and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
Step 5
Add the pectin and cook, stirring, for another minute.
Step 6
Skim off the foam and pour into molds. Allow to set.
