Blueberry Cobbler with Oats
Ingredients
- Fresh Berries 6 cups
- Sugar 0.8 cups
- Corn Starch 1 tablespoon
- Coarse Salt ¾ teaspoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour ¾ cup
- Ground Oats ½ cup
- Baking Powder ½ teaspoon
- Butter 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
For the filling, mix the berries, 0.5 cups of sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and 0.25 teaspoons of salt. Transfer to a square baking dish.
Step 2
For the topping, mix the flour, oats, baking powder, and remaining salt. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar with a mixer. Combine both mixtures by hand until crumbly.
Step 3
Sprinkle over the berries and bake for about 1 hour until golden brown.
Step 4
Cool for 30 minutes and serve.
