Blancmange with Coconut Milk
Ingredients
- Coconut Milk 15 fl oz
- Corn Starch 0 oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Almond 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Bring 300 ml of coconut milk to a boil with sugar over medium heat. Mix the remaining coconut milk with cornstarch until a smooth paste forms.
Step 2
Pour the hot coconut milk into the cornstarch mixture, stir, and transfer everything back into the saucepan. Continuously stir while bringing it back to a boil and simmer for 2–3 minutes. The mixture should become very thick.
Step 3
Remove the pudding from heat, add the flavorings, stir, and pour into molds. Cool first at room temperature, then refrigerate for several hours.
