Blackberry Jelly with Red Wine
Ingredients
- Apple juice with pulp 5 fl oz
- Gelatin 1¼ teaspoons
- Red Grape Juice 10 fl oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Serviceberries 10 oz
- Mint Leaves to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix apple juice, 120 ml of water, and gelatin. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
Step 2
In a saucepan, combine wine and sugar, bring to a boil while stirring. Add blackberries, reserving 8 berries for garnish. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Then, slowly pour the hot mixture into the gelatin, stirring well. Place in ice water and cool.
Step 4
Pour the mixture into a mold and refrigerate until set for 1 hour to overnight.
Step 5
Dip the mold in hot water for a couple of minutes and carefully invert the jelly onto a plate. Garnish with the reserved berries and mint leaves on top.
