Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Vanilla salt 0 oz
- Egg white 2 pieces
- Butter 5 oz
- Cream 2 tablespoons
- Cocoa Powder 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour the flour, granulated sugar, and vanilla sugar onto a work surface in a mound and make a well in the center. Pour the yolks into the well and place the diced butter around the edges. Chop all the ingredients with a knife, then quickly knead the dough. Divide it into two equal parts.
Step 2
Mix one part with cocoa and cream until the dough is evenly colored brown. Shape each part into a ball. Wrap the balls in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. Then, on a floured surface, roll each ball into a rectangle measuring 20x25 cm, place the rectangles one on top of the other on a piece of plastic wrap, and use the wrap to roll the dough into a tight log. Wrap the log in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice the log into pieces 0.5 cm thick and place them on the baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
