Description
Rye flour was in the original recipe. I tried cooking with flaxseed and sesame flour. The flaxseed gives a more interesting, thicker consistency. The sesame flour results in a less uniform texture.
Ingredients
- Coarsely Ground Rye Flour 5 tablespoons
- Sugar Substitute to taste
- Fresh Berries 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Take any of the specified berries or a mixture and mash them.
Step 2
Pour into a pot and add water until it covers the berries.
Step 3
Before the mixture boils, add the flour.
Step 4
Sweeten to taste if you are using sugar.
Step 5
Bring to a boil.
Step 6
Serve in bowls and add honey to taste.
