  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Dry yeast 0 oz
  • Wheat Flour 15 oz
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Cranberry 10 oz
  • Starch film 1 tablespoon
  • Beetroot 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 320°F.

Step 2

In warm milk, dissolve half of the sugar, add yeast, salt, and the egg. Melt the butter and add it to the milk. Gradually add flour while stirring continuously, knead the dough, and place it in a warm place for 1 hour.

Step 3

Wash the cranberries, dry them, and mash them with sugar. Grate the raw beetroot on a fine grater and mix it with the cranberries.

Step 4

Divide the dough into two parts and roll them out. Place one part in a greased and floured baking dish, make a high edge with the second part, and fill the center with the beetroot and cranberry mixture.

Step 5

Bake until done.
