Ingredients

  • Yellow Beets 2 pieces
  • Natural Yogurt 3 tablespoons
  • Hummus 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
  • Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Toasted Sesame a pinch
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil or roast the beets in foil.

Step 2

Cool, peel, and cut into small cubes.

Step 3

Peel and chop the garlic.

Step 4

Drizzle the beets with lemon juice, add yogurt, and blend into a puree using a blender. Then add the chopped garlic, hummus, and olive oil, and blend again.

Step 5

Chill the dip. Place it in a suitable dish, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Step 6

Serve with meat dishes or simply with flatbread.
