Description

Beer Doughnuts

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Safflower Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Beer 10 fl oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable Oil 10 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

This dough is great for fillings like fried fish, zucchini, apples, etc. Sift the flour with salt into a bowl, make a well in the center of the flour mound, pour in the egg yolk and sunflower oil. Mix with a wooden spatula, then add the beer and mix well until you get a thick, sticky dough.

Step 2

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 355°F. Before cooking, beat the egg white with salt until frothy and gently fold it into the dough.

Step 3

Scoop a full tablespoon of dough, add the filling of your choice, and place it all together in the skillet. Do everything quickly but carefully. Fry the doughnuts for 3–5 minutes until they are golden brown. Then drain them on paper towels and serve hot.
