Description

Beef with Shiitake Mushrooms, Ramen Noodles, and Chili

Ingredients

  • Shimeji mushrooms 20 oz
  • Beef 30 oz
  • Yakiniku sauce 6 tablespoons
  • Udon Noodles 5 oz
  • Red Long Chili Peppers 2 pieces
  • Scallions 0 oz
  • Toasted Cumin Seeds 1 tablespoon
  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Chicken Broth 0 qt
  • Chili jam to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Trim the beef tenderloin of membranes and fat. Slice it into thin flat pieces. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and sear the beef on both sides, leaving it rare inside.

Step 2

Transfer the seared beef pieces to a plate and drizzle with teriyaki sauce. Cover with foil and let it rest for 20 minutes.

Step 3

In a large skillet, sauté the prepared mushrooms in a small amount of oil, add the dried chili, and season with salt and pepper.

Step 4

Cut the marinated teriyaki beef into strips, add it to the mushrooms, and sauté until cooked through.

Step 5

Heat the chicken broth. Cook the noodles in salted water until done, then drain. In a larger serving dish, first layer the noodles, then top with the beef and mushrooms, add two tablespoons of chili sauce, and pour the broth over. Finally, sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
