  • Country Bread 4 pieces
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Chopped Sage Leaves 6 pieces
  • White Beans 15 oz
  • Crushed Tomatoes in Their Own Juice 30 oz
  • Salt ½ spoons
  • Ground Black Pepper ¼ spoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Drizzle the bread with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and toast it in a toaster or on a grill until crispy and golden brown.

Step 2

Heat the remaining oil in a skillet and add the minced garlic and sage. Sauté for about 1 minute until the garlic is golden.

Step 3

Add the tomatoes, beans, salt, and pepper, and mix well. Cook for a few minutes until the liquid has slightly evaporated and the soup has thickened.

Step 4

Place a piece of bread in deep bowls and pour the soup over it. Serve immediately.
