
Bean Soup with Bacon

Description
Instead of canned beans, you can use dried ones. They need to be soaked overnight. Cook for 1–1.5 hours until soft.
Ingredients
- Onion 2 heads
- Chives 1 bunch
- Butter to taste
- Thyme 4 sprigs
- Canned Baby Beets 30 oz
- Bacon 8 pieces
- Chicken Broth 25 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sauté the onion in butter for 10 minutes until soft. Add chopped thyme leaves, beans, and broth. Season and cook for another 10 minutes.
Step 2
Blend the soup in a blender, serve with pieces of crispy bacon, chives, and crunchy crackers.
