
Bean or Pea Puree Soup

Description
A similar soup can be made with peas, with the only difference being that cloves are not added to pea soup.
Ingredients
- Beans 15 oz
- Carrot 1 piece
- Onion 1 piece
- Butter 4 tablespoons
- Milk 2 cups
- Water 0 fl oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground clove 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sort the beans, rinse them, and soak in cold water for 5-6 hours.
Step 2
After that, place them in a pot, cover with 4-5 cups of water, add the halved carrot, the whole onion with 2 cloves stuck into it, cover, and simmer on low heat for 40-50 minutes.
Step 3
Then remove the carrot and onion, puree the beans along with the broth through a sieve, dilute with hot milk, and season with salt.
Step 4
Before serving, add butter to the soup. Serve croutons separately.
