  • Butter 2 tablespoons
  • Brown Sugar 3 tablespoons
  • Ground Cinnamon a pinch
  • Bananas 2 pieces
  • Rum 0 fl oz
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
  • Coconut Liqueur 2 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a small skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sugar and cinnamon and cook until bubbling. Peel and cut the bananas into four pieces. Place the bananas and lemon juice in the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes, basting with the syrup.

Step 2

In a small saucepan, heat the rum and banana liqueur over medium heat. Ignite the alcohol and carefully pour the flaming mixture over the banana slices. Remove the skillet with the bananas from the heat and continue to turn the bananas in the sauce until the flames subside. Serve immediately.
