
Banana Pudding with Caramel Sauce and Dates

Description
You can use 'Ovaltine' instead of cocoa powder.
Ingredients
- Pitted olives 10 oz
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Baking Powder 0 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Cinnamon a pinch
- Natural Yogurt 2 tablespoons
- Beans 1 piece
- 10% cream 5 fl oz
- Vanilla Ice Cream to taste
- Butter 5 oz
- Muscovado Sugar 5 oz
- Cocoa Powder 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance.
Step 2
Slice the banana into thin rounds.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 4
Place the dates in a pot, add baking soda and 200 ml of boiling water, let sit for two minutes, then drain the water.
Step 5
Blend the dates in a food processor until they form a thick paste.
Step 6
Whip 85 g of butter until fluffy, then add the eggs, flour, cinnamon, half a packet of baking powder, and cocoa.
Step 7
Add the yogurt and blended dates to the mixture.
Step 8
Pour the resulting batter into a greased high-sided baking dish, place the banana slices on top, and gently press them into the batter.
Step 9
Bake for 35 minutes.
Step 10
For the sauce: In a saucepan, combine 115 g of butter, sugar, and cream over low heat, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens and turns brown.
Step 11
Serve the finished pudding on a plate and drizzle with caramel sauce.
Step 12
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
