Description

By the way! Strawberries can be replaced with blackberries or raspberries. Mint can be replaced with lemon balm. The pie in this photo is shown without ice cream and berries. Serve each piece with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. The photo shows a simple version; more details are in the notes.

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour ½ cup
  • Powdered Sugar 5 oz
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
  • Sugar 3 tablespoons
  • Beans 1 piece
  • Water 6 tablespoons
  • Strawberry 18 pieces
  • Vanilla Ice Cream 0 lbs
  • Fresh Mint 6 sprigs
  • Sugar Glaze 0 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mash the banana in a bowl. Add the flour, powdered sugar, then the eggs and slightly softened butter. Whisk until smooth and lump-free. Then pour into a baking dish.

Step 2

Place the baking dish in the oven on the rack, setting the rack on the second shelf from the bottom. Bake the pie at 355°F for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.

Step 3

Meanwhile, make the caramel. To do this, mix drinking water and sugar in a saucepan. Place over low heat. Then, when the caramel boils and takes on a slightly golden hue, remove from heat.

Step 4

Sprinkle the finished pie with cinnamon sugar and drizzle with caramel.

Step 5

Cut the pie into 5 pieces, and place three large strawberries on each. Also, garnish each piece with a mint leaf.
