Banana Cupcakes
Baking and Desserts • American
Description
The milk and egg should be at room temperature, and the butter should be melted. 100 grams of bananas is about 2 medium-sized ones. It's best to use very ripe and soft bananas.
Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
- Salt a pinch
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Activated Baking Soda ½ spoons
- Bananas 5 oz
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Vanilla extract to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine the sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. In another bowl, mash the banana with a fork, then add the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Beat with a mixer for a couple of minutes.
Step 2
Add the flour mixture to the banana mixture, stir until well combined, and distribute it among the cupcake liners, filling them three-quarters full. Bake at 355°F (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20 to 25 minutes, depending on the size, until cooked through. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
Step 3
The finished cupcakes can be decorated with chocolate glaze: banana and chocolate make a great combination. To do this, melt the chocolate in a double boiler, let it cool slightly, and gently dip the top of each cupcake into the chocolate mixture.
