Ingredients

- Long-Grain Rice 3 tablespoons
- Brown Sugar 0 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Milk 15 fl oz
- Cream 5 fl oz
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- Nutmeg ¼ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 320°F. Grease a 1.5-liter baking dish with softened butter. Cook the rice in boiling water for 12 minutes until soft. Drain well.
Step 2
Place the eggs in a bowl and lightly beat them. Add the sugar, milk, cream, and vanilla. Whisk well. Add the rice and transfer to the dish, sprinkling with nutmeg.
Step 3
Place the dish in a deep baking tray and fill it halfway with hot water. Bake for 45 minutes, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from the tray and let sit for 5 minutes. Serve the pudding with fruit.
