Ingredients
- Plums 25 oz
- Fresh Berries 5 oz
- Serviceberries 5 oz
- Sugar ½ cup
- Brown Sugar 0.3 cup
- Ground Oats 1 cup
- Wheat Flour ¼ cup
- Butter 5 oz
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Irish Whiskey 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 410°F.
Step 2
Slice the black or purple plums, mix with brown sugar and whiskey, and let sit for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Add blueberries and blackberries to the plums and mix again.
Step 4
Place the fruit and berry mixture in a shallow baking dish with a capacity of 1.8 - 2 liters and bake for 10 minutes (on the top rack).
Step 5
Meanwhile, in a bowl, thoroughly mix the flour with salt, granulated sugar, and softened butter using your hands. Rub the mixture with your fingertips until it reaches a uniform crumbly consistency.
Step 6
Remove the fruit and berry mixture from the oven, spread the flour mixture on top, sprinkle with oats, and return to the oven for about 30 minutes. Wait until the oats turn golden and become crispy.
