Baked persimmon with mascarpone cream and candied ginger
Ingredients
- Persimmon 4 pieces
- Honey 3 tablespoons
- Lime Juice 2 tablespoons
- Candied fruits to taste
- Mascarpone Cheese Unagrande 10 oz
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the grill in the oven.
Step 2
Cut the persimmons in half crosswise. Place the halves cut side up on a baking sheet and drizzle with half of the honey. Place under the grill until golden and caramelized for 6–8 minutes. Remove from the oven and quickly drizzle with 1 tablespoon of lime juice.
Step 3
While the persimmons are baking, in a bowl, whip together the mascarpone, vanilla, and remaining lime juice.
Step 4
Arrange the persimmons on a plate and top with the cream. Sprinkle with the remaining sugar and finely chopped ginger.
