Baked Oatmeal with Apple and Cinnamon
Ingredients
- Apple 1 piece
- Ground Oats 1 cup
- Raisins 0 oz
- Brown Sugar 2 tablespoons
- Clarified Butter 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon ½ tablespoon
- Nutmeg 0.1 tablespoon
- Salt 0.1 tablespoon
- Milk 2 cups
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the apple in half and then into quarters, removing the core.
Step 2
Then chop everything into small cubes.
Step 3
In a large bowl, mix the oats, apple, and brown sugar. Add salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
Step 4
Pour in the clarified butter.
Step 5
Mix well.
Step 6
Transfer the mixture to a clean (not greased) baking dish. Spread evenly.
Step 7
Pour in 2 cups of milk. Do not shake or stir. Just place in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 25–30 minutes, until most of the milk is absorbed.
Step 8
Remove from the oven and let cool.
Step 9
Before serving, sprinkle a little brown sugar on top and drizzle with a bit of milk.
