Preheat the grill in the oven.

Remove the leaves and skin from the pineapple and slice it into thin (about 2 cm) rounds.
Step 3
Place on a baking sheet in a single layer and sprinkle with sugar. Cover with a sheet of foil.
Step 4
Bake in the oven for 10–15 minutes, then flip the rounds and cook for another 5–10 minutes uncovered, until soft and golden brown.
