Ingredients
- Apple 7 pieces
- Raisins 5 oz
- Honey 7 teaspoons
- Nuts 14 pieces
- Sugar Glaze 7 teaspoons
- Cognac 2 spoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prick the apples all over with a fork.
Step 2
Rinse the raisins, drizzle with brandy, and let them sit for about 30 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the core and some of the flesh from the apple, being careful not to pierce through the apple.
Step 4
Place 1 teaspoon of honey, raisins, and roughly chopped nuts—2 nuts per apple—inside each apple.
Step 5
Sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon on top.
Step 6
Pour about 1 cm of water into the bottom of the baking dish, arrange the apples, and place it in the oven.
Step 7
Bake in a preheated oven at 390°F for 30 minutes (depending on the variety of apples) and according to your taste!
