Baked apples with nuts and honey

Ingredients

  • Apple 5 oz
  • Chopped almonds 0 oz
  • Honey 1 tablespoon
  • Raisins 0 oz
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Nutmeg to taste
  • Ground clove to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Remove the core from the apples (it's better to cut not all the way through, making it easier to fill with the filling).

Step 2

Mix the ground nuts with the spices and raisins. Stuff the apples with this mixture.

Step 3

Place the apples on a baking sheet or in a baking dish. Drizzle honey on top. Pour a little water into the bottom of the dish.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 355°F and bake until the apples are completely soft (the time depends on the variety and size of the fruit). Occasionally drizzle them with syrup for an even better result. Do not wait for them to cool down!
