Bagels with minced meat
Ingredients
- Bagel 10 oz
- Veal 5 oz
- Pork Blood 5 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Garlic 1 head
- Lard 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Grill Meat Spice Blend 1 teaspoon
- Milk 2 cups
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the bagels (must be round) in cold milk for 10–15 minutes to absorb the milk, but not too soggy.
Step 2
Make the filling from all the other ingredients.
Step 3
Roll the filling into small meatballs and place them on top of the holes in the softened bagels.
Step 4
Place the bagels with meat on parchment paper on a baking sheet and bake for 10–15 minutes at 355°F. Watch to ensure the bagels do not darken. Don't worry, the filling cooks extremely quickly.
