Description
Avocado with strawberry salsa
Ingredients
- Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
- Strawberry 5 oz
- Onion ½ pieces
- Cilantro 2 spoons
- Lime Juice ½ spoons
- Salt ¼ spoons
- Sugar ½ spoons
- Tortillas 6 pieces
- Avocado 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Put on rubber gloves, remove the seeds from the pepper, and chop it finely.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the pepper with strawberries, finely chopped onion, cilantro leaves, lime juice, salt, and sugar. This can be done ahead of time and covered to chill.
Step 3
Stack the flatbreads on top of each other and cut them in half. Then slice the flatbreads into thin strips. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat until it is hot but not smoking. Divide the flatbreads into three portions and fry for about thirty seconds, until the strips are golden and crispy. Then transfer them with a slotted spoon to paper towels to drain the excess oil.
Step 4
Cut the avocado in half, peel the skin, and remove the pit. Slice each half lengthwise into six wedges and arrange them in a fan shape on four salad plates.
Step 5
Pour the strawberry salsa over the avocado, and sprinkle the crispy straws alongside.
