Autumn Plum Charlotte
Ingredients
- Plums 15 oz
- Chicken Egg 5 pieces
- Sugar 1 glass
- Wheat Flour 1 glass
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon

Step 1
Preheat the oven. Wash the plums, cut them in half, and remove the pits.
Step 2
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Whip the egg whites until frothy, then gradually add the sugar, one yolk at a time, followed by the flour and the sifted baking soda. The batter should have a consistency similar to thin sour cream.
Step 3
Grease a baking tray with vegetable oil and pour half of the prepared batter into it. Arrange the plums on top. For added flavor, I recommend adding cloves, cinnamon, and vanilla sugar, as this will give the charlotte a special spiciness.
Step 4
Pour in the remaining batter. Place it in the already preheated oven, keeping it at the maximum temperature for 3 minutes, then bake for another 20–25 minutes at 140–355°F, depending on your oven.
