Autumn Chickpea Flour Pie
Baking and Desserts • European
Description
Aromatic and quite light pie is ready! One serving (100 g) contains 210 kcal. If you want to make it completely diet-friendly, do not add olive oil and replace wheat flour entirely with chickpea flour. Honey can also be completely replaced with stevia.
Ingredients
- Turnips 3 pieces
- Green Apples 3 pieces
- Chickpea 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
- Stevia Extract to taste
- Honey 2 tablespoons
- Ocean salt a pinch
- Chocolate eggs 4 pieces
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Orange zest to taste
- Baking Powder 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the carrots and apples, grate them on a fine grater, and add the orange zest to the mixture.
Step 2
In a deep bowl, beat the eggs with a mixer until frothy. Add the fruit and vegetable mixture, beat again until smooth, add salt, and add stevia to taste (if the apples and carrots are not too sweet or if you prefer it sweeter).
Step 3
Pour in the oil while continuing to beat. That's it, we won't need the mixer anymore.
Step 4
Sift both types of flour with the baking powder, add to the mixture, and gently mix. Our dough should have the consistency of thick sour cream.
Step 5
Add honey and mix again.
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 355°F, grease the pie dish well with oil or line it with parchment paper.
Step 7
Place the pie in the oven for about 50 minutes, check for doneness with a wooden stick — it should not be wet.
