Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Water 1 glass
  • Dry yeast 0 oz
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 5 oz
  • Oregano to taste
  • Olive Oil to taste
  • Melted Cheese 5 oz
  • Spicy salami to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix the flour with salt and dissolve the yeast in a small amount of water. Pour the yeast into the flour and gradually add the remaining water from the cup until a soft dough forms that slightly sticks to your hands. Knead the dough for 10 minutes, as this is very important for the quality of the dough. Then shape the dough into a ball, dust it with flour, and let it rise in a warm place for two hours.

Step 2

Once the dough has risen well, line a baking sheet with parchment paper, drizzle a little olive oil, and spread it evenly over the paper with your hands. Then, using your well-oiled hands, take the dough and evenly flatten it across the baking sheet. Spread tomato sauce over the entire surface of the dough.

Step 3

Then add the filling of your choice (thinly sliced salami works well), sprinkle everything with cubes of mozzarella, a couple of pinches of oregano, and drizzle with a couple of tablespoons of olive oil. Bake for 10–12 minutes in a preheated oven at 480°F, on the upper rack.
