Apricot Pie
Ingredients
- Pitted Wild Apricots 10 pieces
- Sugar 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Milk 0 fl oz
- Vanillin ¼ teaspoon
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
- Powdered Sugar to taste
- Baking Powder ½ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the apricots in half and remove the pits.
Step 2
Mix the flour with the baking powder, salt, and vanillin.
Step 3
Beat the eggs with the milk and 150 g of sugar using a mixer. Add the softened butter to the eggs and mix. Then gradually add the flour.
Step 4
Place the dough in a greased baking pan (ideally 21 cm). Arrange the apricots cut side up, slightly pressing them down.
Step 5
Bake at 355°F for 25 minutes. Then sprinkle with the remaining sugar and return to the oven for another 25 minutes.
Step 6
Let the finished pie cool slightly, remove from the pan, and dust with powdered sugar.
