Ingredients
- Pitted Wild Apricots 10 lbs
- Sugar 5 lbs
- Ground Almonds 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Remove the pits from the apricots and cut them in half. Cook without water in the microwave for 10 minutes (in batches).
Step 2
Mix the resulting mass with sugar and bring to a boil in a jam pot (with a thick bottom).
Step 3
Add the almonds and simmer on low heat, stirring. Once foam appears, cook for another 10 minutes.
Step 4
Distribute the apricot-nut mixture into sterilized jars, seal them, and turn them upside down.
