- Green Apples 3 pieces
- Butter 0 oz
- Ground Cinnamon 2 teaspoons
- Brown Sugar 3 teaspoons
- Walnuts 0 oz
- Ground clove 1 teaspoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the apples and cut them into cubes.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a pan and add the apples.
Step 3
Add cinnamon, sugar, and cloves to the apples and stir for 15 minutes.
Step 4
In another pan, toast the walnuts without oil for 5-8 minutes.
Step 5
Transfer the walnuts to a bowl and crush them into not very small pieces.
Step 6
Add the walnuts to the apples and drizzle with lemon juice.
Step 7
Stir for about another minute and turn off the heat.
