Apple Vanilla Sauce
Ingredients
- Apple 14 pieces
- Apple Cider Vinegar 10 fl oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Cinnamon 1 piece
- Grated Ginger Root 1 teaspoon
- Ground Nutmeg ½ teaspoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz
- White Beans 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the apples and remove the cores, then cut them into quarters. Transfer to a saucepan and add the remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat, covered, stirring with a wooden spoon, until soft, about 50–60 minutes, adding a little vinegar as needed.
Step 2
Mash the larger pieces with a spoon and add sugar to taste.
Step 3
Remove from heat and discard the vanilla and cinnamon.
