- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Apricot Jam 0 oz
- Apple 25 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine the flour, softened butter, sugar, egg, and sour cream to knead a soft dough by hand, form it into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 2
During this time, slice the peeled apples into thin wedges, grease the tart pan with butter, and preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 3
Spread the dough in the pan, forming a border.
Step 4
Spread a thin layer of sour cream on top.
Step 5
Arrange the apple slices in an overlapping pattern, starting from the edge.
Step 6
Bake at 355°F in the lower third of the oven for 40–45 minutes.
Step 7
Brush the hot tart with jam. Serve warm or cold, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
