Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour to taste
  • Shortcrust Cake Mix 10 oz
  • Butter 6 tablespoons
  • Sugar ½ cup
  • Apple 45 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Peel the apples and remove the cores, then cut each into 8 wedges.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 430°F.

Step 3

Roll out the dough into a circle the size of the baking dish and trim the excess. Place it in the refrigerator for a while.

Step 4

Place the cut butter at the bottom of the dish, sprinkle with sugar, and arrange the apples in a circle. Put on low heat and let the sugar caramelize slightly for 8–10 minutes.

Step 5

Then place the dish in the oven for 30 minutes, until the apples are soft.

Step 6

Next, carefully place the dough over the apples, press down gently, and return to the oven for another 15 minutes, until the dough is golden.

Step 7

Cool the tart for about 20 minutes and carefully invert onto a plate.
