Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Egg white 2 pieces
- Sugar 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Baking Powder ½ teaspoon
- White Beans 1 piece
- Apple 20 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 2
Choose sweeter apples. They need to be peeled and cored. Cut the apples into large pieces. I cut each into 8 parts.
Step 3
There is no need to beat the batter. Simply mix all the ingredients in one bowl.
Step 4
Try to take everything you need from the refrigerator in advance. It is preferable to use eggs at room temperature.
Step 5
The butter should be soft enough to easily mix with the other components. Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a knife.
Step 6
Add sugar, flour, and baking powder. Mix everything well.
Step 7
Grease the baking dish with butter and lay the apple slices in an even layer.
Step 8
Now spread the batter on top. It will be quite liquid. Just lift the bowl a little higher while 'pouring' the mixture over the fruit filling.
Step 9
Place it in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes. The surface should turn a confident brown, 'baked' color. During this time, the apples will become very soft, and the top of the pudding will develop a nice crust.
Step 10
This dish is absolutely wonderful when consumed warm. However, the pudding will also delight you when cooled!
