Apple Pie with Delicate Sour Cream Filling
Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Sour Cream 2 tablespoons
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Pickled Apples 4 pieces
- Egg white 1 piece
- 20% Sour Cream 5 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt the butter.
Step 2
Add the sifted flour mixed with baking powder and sour cream.
Step 3
Knead a soft and elastic dough — it should not stick to your hands or the table.
Step 4
Roll out the dough into a sheet and transfer it to a springform pan (24 cm), making edges 2–3 cm high.
Step 5
Wash the apples, remove the cores. Cut into small cubes and place on the dough.
Step 6
For the filling, whip the sour cream with flour, egg, and sugar, and pour this mixture over the apples.
Step 7
Bake for about 50 minutes at 355°F.
Step 8
Once the pie has completely cooled, remove it from the pan and it can be served.
