Ingredients

  • Brown Sugar 5 oz
  • Egg white 3 pieces
  • Apple 5 pieces
  • Wheat Flour 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Slice the apples and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Step 2

Beat the eggs with sugar until thick and frothy. While continuing to beat, gradually add the flour. If using a mixer, this will take about 5 minutes.

Step 3

Grease a baking dish with butter. Evenly arrange the apples at the bottom. Pour the batter over the apples. Then place in the oven and bake for 45 minutes at 355°F.

Step 4

For decoration, I used caramelized apples. They are very quick and easy to make. Slice the apples into wedges. Melt butter in a skillet. Place the apple wedges in the skillet. Sauté the apples until golden brown (the apples should be soft). Then add sugar to the apples and stir until each wedge is coated in caramel.
