  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Apple 4 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mash the cottage cheese with a fork and mix it with 2/3 cup of sugar, beat it, add 3 eggs, melted margarine, and beat again. Mix the flour with the baking powder and gradually add it to the cottage cheese mixture. Knead the dough, form it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Meanwhile, peel the apples, remove the seeds, and cut them into small cubes, then sauté them in butter for 5 minutes. After that, add 3 tablespoons of sugar and mix everything thoroughly.

Step 3

Remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll it out to a thickness of about half a centimeter. Cut out circles with a glass, place a teaspoon of apples in each, and pinch the edges. Place the pastries on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet, press the edges with a fork to prevent the filling from leaking, and brush the tops with beaten egg. Bake at 180–390°F for 20–30 minutes.

Step 4

Serve on the table, sprinkled with powdered sugar.
