Ingredients
- Sugar 15 oz
- Apple 20 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the apples, cut each apple in half, remove the core, and bake in the oven, then strain through a sieve.
Step 2
Add sugar to the resulting puree, mix, place on the heat, and cook, stirring, until thickened (5–10 minutes).
Step 3
Remove from heat and, without letting it cool, cover the pastry or cake with the marmalade.
