Apple Maple Pudding with Dried Cranberries

Ingredients

  • Clear Apple Juice 2 pieces
  • Maple syrup 1 tablespoon
  • Dried cranberries with sugar 0 oz
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 2 tablespoons
  • Ocean salt ¼ teaspoon
  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Shortcrust Cake Mix 10 oz
  • Vanilla Ice Cream to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 355°F. Peel the apples and slice them thinly, transferring them to a bowl. Add the maple syrup, cranberries, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well and transfer to a greased oval baking dish. Dot the top with pieces of butter.

Step 2

Place the pastry over the filling, pressing the edges down and cutting a few small square holes in it with a knife, leaving the pastry in place.

Step 3

Bake for 35 minutes. Then increase the temperature to 390°F, sprinkle the pie with 1 tablespoon of sugar, and bake for another 35 minutes. Serve with ice cream.
