  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Apple 4 pieces
  • Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
  • Chicken Egg 2 pieces
  • Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
  • Vanilla salt ¼ teaspoon
  • Sugar 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped almonds 15 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash the apples, cut them in half, and remove the core. Simmer the apple halves for about 5 minutes in a pot with lemon juice, chopped lemon zest, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and half of the wine.

Step 2

Mix the egg yolks with half a packet of vanilla sugar and the remaining wine. Whip the egg whites with 1 tablespoon of sugar and combine with the yolk mixture.

Step 3

Fill the apple halves with the egg mixture, sprinkle with finely chopped almonds, place the apples in a greased baking dish, and bake in the oven at 390°F until done.
