Ingredients
- Green Apples 1½ kg
- Sugar 5 oz
- Cinnamon a pinch
- Butter 5 oz

Step 1
Remove the cores from the apples and cut them in half.
Step 2
In a skillet, melt the butter with sugar and simmer until the sugar turns into a thick brown syrup. Then, arrange the apples in a circle in the skillet, placing them tightly, half to half. Sprinkle with cinnamon and cook on low heat for half an hour, until the apples caramelize. Allow to cool — this will take a few hours, then invert onto a plate so that the dark caramelized bottom is on top — and serve.
