Apple and Plum Charlotte
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 4 pieces
- Sugar 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Apple 2 pieces
- Activated Baking Soda a pinch
- Walnuts to taste
- Plums 5 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs thoroughly with a mixer along with the sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved (about 5–7 minutes). The mixture should significantly increase in volume.
Step 2
Add the flour and baking soda and mix the batter with the mixer.
Step 3
Cut the apples into random pieces, chop the walnuts slightly so they can be felt, rather than turning them into walnut powder. Slice the plums into wedges.
Step 4
In a greased baking dish, layer: batter, apples, walnuts, batter, apples, walnuts. Sprinkle more walnuts on top. Arrange the plum wedges on top in a circle for decoration.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 355°F. Bake for 40 minutes.
