Apple and Cinnamon Puff Pastries
Ingredients
- Puff Pastry 20 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Apple 4 pieces
- Sugar 0 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Cinnamon to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thoroughly wash the apples and cut them into cubes.
Step 2
Melt a piece of butter in a skillet.
Step 3
Add the apples to the skillet.
Step 4
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Step 5
Cook until the apples are soft.
Step 6
Prepare the dough: thaw at room temperature and roll out slightly.
Step 7
Cut the dough into rectangles and make slits as shown in the photo.
Step 8
Place the filling on the opposite side of the slits. Add as much filling as you can fit: the more, the tastier, but not too much — enough to pinch the edges.
Step 9
Pinch the edges.
Step 10
Place the pastries on a baking sheet and brush the tops with egg yolk. This will give them a delicious crust after baking.
Step 11
Bake at 430°F until golden brown.
