  • Margarine 5 oz
  • Sugar ½ cup
  • Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
  • Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
  • Wheat Flour 3½ cups
  • Condensed Milk 1 can
  • Honey 2 tablespoons
  • Poppy seed paste 4 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 390°F.

Step 2

Cream the margarine with the sugar. Add the eggs and mix thoroughly. Add the baking soda quenched with lemon juice and, stirring continuously, gradually add the flour. Pass the resulting dough through a meat grinder. Bake the sausage-shaped strips on a greased baking sheet for 20-25 minutes.

Step 3

Pour boiling water over the poppy seeds and add honey.

Step 4

Carefully mix the baked dough with the condensed milk, form a mound, and pour the honey with poppy seeds over it.

Step 5

Place the finished cake in the refrigerator for a day.
