American pancakes with Nutella®
Ingredients
- Nutella® 8 teaspoons
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Baking Powder 0 oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Vanilla extract 1 tablespoon
- Ghee 0 oz
- Powdered Sugar to taste
- Fresh Mint to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sift the flour and baking powder, add the sugar and a pinch of salt, and mix. Make a well in the dry mixture, pour in the milk, add the egg and vanilla essence. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
Step 2
In a non-stick skillet, melt half a teaspoon of clarified butter over medium heat. Once the butter has melted and the skillet is hot, carefully wipe away any excess butter with paper towels. Pour a little batter into the skillet and cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until done. Cook each side for 3-4 minutes.
Step 3
Place three pancakes on a plate, spreading Nutella® between them.
Step 4
Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with mint.
