Description

The ingredients for the recipe are listed in measuring cups.

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 1¼ glasses
  • Sugar ½ glasses
  • Chicken Egg 2 pieces
  • Buttermilk ½ glasses
  • Ghee 2 spoons
  • Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
  • Milk 1 glass
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
  • Vanillin ½ spoons
  • Chocolate 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

If you can't buy buttermilk, you can make it yourself in advance: mix 1 cup of milk with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and let it sit for 30 minutes in a warm place. The milk will curdle and thicken, resulting in buttermilk.

Step 2

Sift 1 1/4 cups of flour, then add baking powder, 0.5 cups of sugar, and a pinch of salt.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, lightly whisk together the eggs, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla.

Step 4

Combine all the ingredients and mix thoroughly. Grease the donut pan with oil, then fill each mold halfway with the batter.

Step 5

Bake in a preheated oven at 410°F for 4–6 minutes, then let them sit in the oven for an additional 5 minutes to cool before removing.

Step 6

You can decorate the donuts with any glaze, for example, by melting chocolate with milk in a double boiler.
